Sean is playing his 3rd season of flag football this year on the RPPW Wolverines.  Aidan is also playing this year on the same team.  As both kids are on the field, I am helping out as one of the team Moms.  Prior to season starting, we take team and individual photos on Picture Day.  The night before Picture Day, we went to a friend’s party and stayed out late and came home with bags of candy from their candy bar.  Fast forward 12 hours, it’s time for pictures.  The boys put on their full football uniforms with their new jerseys in the hotel room.  We headed to the field and got all our picture forms ready.  It was somewhat chaotic, but pretty organized.  The boys were waiting while I completed last minute paperwork.  Upon finishing paperwork, Sean was giggling and laughing at his brother as big brothers do because Aidan would not stop “playing with himself”.  Given it was his first time in his football uniform with a tucked-in super long jersey, Sean got in trouble for making fun of dear little brother. But then Aidan wouldn’t stop, and when asked he insisted that “something” was in “there”.  Of course, I told him it was just his long shirt and to stop it. But it didn’t stop.  Oh boy, what now!?  He kept doing so and I kept telling him it was ok and just to stop, nothing was IN his pants!  To prove me wrong, he put his hand down into his pants and with a HUGE grin, pulled out a Lollipop!  Yes, he had found it in the hotel room and apparently put it into his football pants to save it for later.  Lesson learned:  Listen to Aidan, he’s usually right.
